Q) What permissions are your prefabs?
A) All prefabs are modifiable and copyable. They are not transferable and will not be offered transferable for record keeping and customer service reasons. This is so you may have back up copies of your prefab.
Q) I would like to give a prefab (or other no transfer item) as a gift, can this be done?
A) Absolutely! I am happy to assist you in giving no transfer items as gifts by delivering them myself, free of charge. Items will be put in an attractive gift box and delivered with a simple note who it is from (or anonymously if desired). I am happy to include a special note or some other kind of card made by you in the package as well.
Q) I would like to buy a no copy item with copy permissions, is this possible?
A) I do allow people to buy certain furniture, landscaping, and décor items with copy permissions (no transfer) in place of bulk purchases (ten or more of the exact same item). For example if you needed 100 lamps for your region I'm not cruel enough to make you buy and place 100 lamps individually. Please contact me with your needs and I will be happy to discuss pricing with you.
Q) I bought something from you and I would like to return it, can I?
A) Depends on the permissions:
- Transferable Items: Yes, you may return transferable items for valid reasons. Otherwise I will be happy to at least offer you to trade it for something of equal value.
- No transfer items: No. Because of SL's rigid permission system no transfer items cannot be returned or exchanged. If there are any flaws or problems with your no transfer item I am happy to fix them so the product meets your expectations.
Q) I messed up/lost my copy of my copyable item. Will you send me a new one?
A) Absolutely! As long as proof of purchase can be established I am happy to send a new fresh copy to you.
Q) My question was not answered here, can I contact you for help?
A) Of course! Please feel free to contact me (Barnesworth Anubis) in world via IM or notecard. Please be specific, including product names and transaction details where applicable.
- IM: please send a single detailed IM for fastest response. Q) Will this house fit on my lot?
A) I don't know! Here are some tips to help you determine just that.
- Prim Count: How many prims does your lot support? You can find this out by standing on your land, going to World > About Land > Objects Tab.
- Footprint: The footprint is the length and width of the house and its features. This should not be mistaken for a square footage as it just shows the extreme measurements in each direction. This gives you a ballpark idea of how much space you will need.
- Covenant: A lot of private rental estates have additional rules and considerations for structures. Some rules might be size restrictions (footprint or height), prim count restrictions, or some even require a certain amount of spaces between your house and the edges of your parcel. Be sure to consider these when shopping for a house.
- Openspace Sims: see question "I live on an openspace sim/void region/low prim sim/ high area sim, will your prefabs work there?" for information on openspace regions.
- It is your responsibility as the buyer to make sure the house will fit your lot. Refunds will not be given if the house does not fit. Please ask if you have any questions BEFORE purchasing the house.
Q) What features come standard with your prefabs?
A) Because I have a large range of houses and structures in many different styles the only standard feature is Auto-Rezzors for any structure that has multiple pieces. However, many houses feature full privacy options including locking doors, central access control, and privacy windows. Press the "More info" button on a prefab vendor to receive more information on its features and privacy levels. Also be sure to check out the displays. If you have any questions about the features included in a house please feel free to ask before buying.
Q) I love this house! Except I would like this one change... will you do it for me?
A) As much as I would love to help you make your prefab the perfect structure for your needs, there are only so many hours in a day. I do not have the time to modify houses for individuals, they are all sold as is. They are full mod/copy permissions so you can easily copy elements of the build to extend or modify it as you need. If you are not experienced with building the copy permissions are also extremely ideal because you do not have to worry about messing up the house, as you have unlimited copies to play with. However I am happy to hear feedback on my prefabs and am open to improving designs and offering alternate versions of a house.
Q) I would like to add on to my build once I buy it, can I have your textures to make it match?
A) All prefab structures are sold copy/mod, meaning you can take an already textured piece and modify the shape and size of the prim it to your hearts content for whatever purpose you need. I do not give my textures to people.
Q) I live on an openspace sim/void region/low prim sim/ high area sim, will your prefabs work there?
A)First off, what is an openspace sim? An open space sim is a full size region with only 3750 prims, and is a fraction of the cost of a regular sim. These are offered by LL for open spaces, not for residential use. Some land companies however DO rent this out for resident use.
Open space sims vary in performance, and some people do experience problems with heavily scripted prefabs on openspace sims. Use scripted prefabs on openspace sims at your own risk, because LL cannot guarantee the performance of scripts and heavy loads on openspace regions, neither can I. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this.
Official LL statement about Openspace Sims:
For those estate owners wishing to provide empty areas such as water, hills and forest -- we offer Openspaces, light use regions sometimes referred to as voids.
....
Normal regions run on their own dedicated CPU, but the Openspace regions run four per CPU; as you would expect, this limits their performance. Openspaces only ever share with other Openspaces on a server.
It is therefore important to understand what these regions are. They are provided for light use only, not for building, living in, renting as homes or use for events. As a stretch of open water for boating or a scenic wooded area they are fine, but we do not advise more serious use than this and will not respond to performance issues reported should you not use them in this way.

Q) How do I set up my house?
A)
1) Drag your rezzor package from your inventory to the ground
2) A menu will drop down in upper corner of your screen, ignore this for now
3) Move the rezzor package to center of plot to avoid rezzing outside of property lines
4) If you lost the drop down menu, simply click the box again. Choose rez from the drop down.
5) House will appear and self align
6) Move and rotate rezzor box, house will move with it
7) When happy with location, press save OR store to finalize the position.
8) record rezzors final placement (see below for how and why)
You are ready to move in!
Q) Why should you record your rezzors final placement?
A) It makes it no hassle if you accidentally mess up your build. You can simply copy the 6 numbers into the rezzors edit menu and rez the house in the EXACT same position it was. Even if you are the most careful home owner, and there is ABSOLUTELY no chance you will mess up your own house, SL is often unpredictable and things happen that may call for rerezzing your house. Also periodic changes in LSL (Linden Scripting Language) or updates to the house may also require you to rerez your home.
Q) How do I record the placement of my house's rezzor?
A)
1) When in build mode, select the rezzor
2) Go to the "Object tab"
3) Record the X Y and Z values for Position and Rotation
To make it easier, you can copy and paste the text below and use it as a template for recording your rezzors position, be sure to enter which house it is, and what sim it is located in and the date of set up to make it easy to locate after saving in your own inventory.
(Tip: highlight text in hit Ctrl+C to copy the text, place the cursor where you would like to paste the text and hit Ctrl+V)

Q) My prefab needs to be rerezzed/replaced. How do I do this without messing up my current set up?
A) If you need to rerez your house and want it in the same exact position (because you may already have furniture, landscaping etc already done) you CAN do this. Hopefully you heeded advice and recorded your rezzors final placement, if not see next question.
How to rerez your house:
(Tip: If there are parts of your old house still present, keep them (unless you need the prims). These serve as a good reference while re-rezzing.)
1) Drag your rezzor package from your inventory to the ground
2) A menu will drop down in upper corner of your screen, ignore this for now
3) In the build menu, go to the Object Tab, and enter coordinates and rotations you recorded for your rezzors final placement. Often its easy to just copy and paste these from your notecard to the value boxes.
4) Click the rez box again to activate the drop down menu, and rez the house.
5) If you left pieces of the hold house up, make sure they are all in the same place and everything looks right.
6) To safely remove any pieces you left out, lift up the rezzor so the new house is above the old one. Delete the old pieces.
7) Reselect the rezzor and go to Edit > Undo. This will drop the rezzor back down to its previous spot. If this doesn't work simply re-enter the Z position coordinate from your recorded position notecard.
8) Take a look around and make sure everything is placed right, make any adjustments needed. Click the rezzor again and choose store or save the build. Done!
.
Q) How do I replace/rerez my house if I did not record the position of my rezzor?
A) (Tip: If there are parts of your old house still present, keep them up. Especially if you did not record the position of the rezzor these can be very helpful in helping you realign the house by sight.)
1) Drag your rezzor package from your inventory to the ground
2) A menu will drop down in upper corner of your screen, ignore this for now
3) Move the rezzor package to center of plot to avoid rezzing outside of property lines
4) Click the rez box again to activate the drop down menu, and rez the house.
5) Move and rotate the rezzor until the house looks properly aligned.
6) To safely remove any pieces you left out, lift up the rezzor so the new house is above the old one. Delete the old pieces.
7) Reselect the rezzor and go to Edit > Undo. This will drop the rezzor back down to its previous spot. If this doesn't work simply lower the house to the correct height by hand.
8) Take a look around and make sure everything is placed right, make any adjustments needed. Click the rezzor again and choose store or save the build. Done!
Q) My doors are not opening, what can I do?
A)
- Check that you have scripts enabled on your land, especially with rental land script settings can sometimes be messed up.
- If the person trying to open the doors is not an owner, make sure they are added to the keyserver (Click keyserver, choose admin, then list) This will give you a list of current keyholders. If they are on there try going back through the menus and press "resend" which will make sure all components are up to date. Lastly, try removing them then re-adding them.
Q) My doors are moving wrong
A)
If your doors are moving wrong, depending on the situation sometimes it is easier to re-rez the house. Especially if you saved your rezzors position when initially rezzing. See questions on Rerezzing house for more information. If that is not an option you can try the following:
- Sliding doors:
If your sliding door is popping outwards rather than sliding sideways; while in the closed position select it, hold shift, and drag. This will leave a copy behind and the selected one will still be selected. Delete the one still selected, the one in place is the new, good copy. Wait for the script messages in chat to finish before operating the doors.
If your sliding door is not closing all the way or off track; select it and move it to the proper starting position. While selected hold shift, and drag. This will leave a copy behind and the selected one will still be selected. Delete the one still selected, the one in place is the new, good copy. Wait for the script messages in chat to finish before operating the doors.
- Rotating doors:
If your rotating door is rotating incorrectly; make sure any door or privacy switch connected to doors is switched to the default (closed) position. Manually rotate any door that is not in the proper position back to its proper starting closed position. While selected hold shift, and drag. This will leave a copy behind and the selected one will still be selected. Delete the one still selected, the one in place is the new, good copy. Wait for the script messages in chat to finish before operating the doors.
Q) I would like to add to my build, can I have your textures to make it match?
A) All prefab structures are sold copy/mod, meaning you can take an already textured piece and modify the shape and size of the prim it to your hearts content for whatever purpose you need. I do not give my textures to use on their own prims.
Q) I messed up a texture on my house, will you come fix it for me?
A) Depending on the severity of the texture damage, I am happy to help. If the texture damage is extensive (for example a whole linkset/section of the house is ruined) you will need to Rerez your house.
Q) Will you help me modify my house?
A) Unfortunately I do not have the time to modify houses, they are all sold as is. They are full mod/copy permissions so you can easily copy elements of the build to extend or modify it as you need. If you are not experienced with building the copy permissions are also extremely ideal because you do not have to worry about messing up the house, as you have unlimited copies to play with.
